Our working method, practice areas and services

The Dutch Advocaten team is close-knit and very experienced. Together we have more than 65 years of experience in the legal profession. Thanks to our diverse backgrounds, broad interests and specialist (further) training, we can act quickly and effectively. For example, our team has completed the following post-academic Grotius specialization courses: ‘Corporate and Corporate Law’, ‘Corporate and Liability’, ‘National and International Contracting’, and ‘IT Law’.

You can contact us with legal questions related to our three areas of work: Corporate, Commercial and Real Estate. The questions we receive are very diverse. From drawing up contracts to the legal oversight of large-scale mergers and acquisitions. If you do not know exactly what to ask (this is more common than you think) you can always call or email us without obligation.

We believe it is important that there is a good ‘click’ between a potential client and one of our lawyers. We have learned from experience that this increases the chance that we will achieve your intended goal together. For this reason, we have had repeat clients for many years and we do not accept every case.

If you are looking for a committed office that focuses on your company and pays attention to your business, then we are the right office for you. Do you have doubts whether we have the necessary expertise to solve your question or issue? Then don’t hesitate to get in touch. There are often more solutions than you can initially estimate. We are always looking for a fast and smart solution.

One case is more complex than the other. Sometimes a case is routine work, but more often it is custom work. For these reasons we always make a joint ‘game plan’. This makes it transparent and clear what needs to be done, what expertise is required and the hourly rate will therefore vary.

In most cases you can contact us fairly quickly. However, it may happen that we cannot help you immediately. If there is a great urgency or great importance, we are flexible enough to be able to switch quickly.

It is possible to ask for a specific lawyer. It is possible that the lawyer you are asking for is not (immediately) available. We would be happy to talk to you to determine which of our team can best assist you. It sometimes happens that we cannot help you properly, we are honest about that. You should feel comfortable with our firm, knowing that we will always represent your best interests.

Dutch lawyers work with a fixed fee for common issues. We can also charge a fixed fee if you request us to assist you for a longer period of time. Depending on your question and the ‘game plan’ that we draw up, we can inform you clearly about the costs.
