COMMERCIAL STRATEGY
A core value of Dutch lawyers is that the legal strategy must first and foremost facilitate the client’s business. We think along with our clients about how to achieve the commercial objectives and draw up a ‘game plan’ where necessary. Our lawyers advise on all commercial legal matters and look at what is possible, and not what is not possible. Dutch lawyers advise on entering into, recording and terminating commercial relationships, and where necessary we litigate on behalf of our clients.

ENVIRONMENTAL, SOCIAL & CORPORATE GOVERNANCE
ESG stands for Environmental, Social and Governance and refers to the three central factors used to measure the long-term sustainability of an organization. A well-founded ESG or sustainability strategy is increasingly in demand and increasingly benefits companies.
An ESG or sustainability strategy makes the organization more attractive for investment and increases the chance of obtaining financing. In addition, it has a positive influence on the internal corporate culture, which in turn contributes to retaining and attracting staff. ESG is moving up the business agenda and this is only expected to increase in the coming years. Not only for large companies but also for SMEs. Dutch advises her clients, from start-ups, scale-ups to mid-market across all industries, on ESG-related jurisdictions, including ESG due diligence and risk assessments.
